Demolition has finished at 144 Newhall Street

Partial demolition of the site of the former Museum of Science & Industry started on September 4th 2006. The rear of the site is clear and the Whitmore Arm Warehouse is now fully revealed.

Prior to demolition MoLH's co-lead artists Alistair Grant and Stuart Mugridge have salvaged a weird and wonderful collection of objects - ranging from, broom handles to dead moths.

These'Absurdist' exhibits will form part of a reincarnated real and virtual ' Museum of Lost Heritage', which will be open to the public in June 2007 and eventually add a quirky dimension to MoLH's evolving website.
